cannot wait to hear from you.
Hi, I currently live in Haifa for 2 years and Israel for 4 years. My experience has been living in Efrat where English speakers dominate, and going to ulpan in Haifa where Russians dominate. In both cases I have not made much progress living Hebrew. As a shy person, I have problems trying to speak Hebrew. I am embarrassed when I do not know a word. I thought that communicating over the web may overcome this barrier. What do you think

Can hardly wait to get started again.
I am a christian and an currently studying Isaiah. I am struggling with some passages and an wondering if it would make more sense if I read it in Hebrew. Do you have any opinion or suggestion?
Just to read one passage you want to learn a whole language? 😂….
Yes of course. We often acquire a tool for a single task and, once learned, we find other tasks this tool helps us complete. Ever buy a hammer or screw driver? I suspect you have used them for more than your original purpose. The tool acquisition opened doors and possibilities for you that you could not imagine. A lot like learning Hebrew to read a single passage. Shalom.
I am keen to learn to speak hebrew by saying the word in english and HEARING the hebrew word.or phrase SLOWER so I can copy it
Recently I woke up to the knowledge that Christianity is Idolatry and Hashem led me to start studying the Jewish scriptures through rabbi’s who are teaching the Truth. I find some of them are actually teaching the lies of Christianity which blew me away. I have been encouraged to learn Hebrew for a better comprehension of Torah. I have limited income and limited wifi access. Can you recommend the best sites where I can learn to both read and write Biblical Hebrew at the lowest price.
I can not help you find a web site that teaches Hebrew at a low price but, I would recommend a few things if you want to learn about Judaism.
First, I would direct you to web sites like Aish.com and Chabad.com, these are excellent Orthodox sites that teach you Judaism the way it has been passed down for centuries. They also have a lot of resources and help for someone wanting to learn.
Your best bet is to find a local Orthodox Rabbi, unlike what you may think, the Rabbis are happy to talk to you. Be advised though, if you are seriously wanting to study Judaism, it is not be taken lightly. because of this the Rabbi’s will challenge you to find out how committed you are.
Other movements like Conservative and Reformed are more flexible and do not adhere strictly to original Judaism as taught by our Great Rabbi’s, Sages, and the Torah (both written and oral). It sounds to me like you may find Orthodoxy more to your needs.
Good luck, and Shabat Shalom!
Born again Christians believe in the Jewish Messiah, that Yeshua is the fulfillment of the Hebrew scriptures. In my case, I am a member of a fellowship where both Jewish and non-Jewish believers in Yeshua worship together. We meet on Shabbos, and celebrate all the festivals etc. Our teaching is on Torah and Tannach,, and we use midrash as part of our teaching. I have been learning Ivrit [modern Hebrew] for 12 months in a class, but this won’t continue in September. Judith
You haven’t meet Yeshua/Jesus personally yet. If you are sincere and want a personal relationship with Him, He will reveal Himself to you. You all have been scared away from Him by many traditions and fears passed on to you from one generation to another. Many Rabbi’s realize that the Old Testament reveals Him as does Isaiah 53, which many Jewish leaders and or Rabbi’s forbid Jewish people to read because it confirms His existence. I feel very sorry that you all have been deceived and Satan is behind it. However many Jewish people are still having a personal experience with Yeshua (He appears to some in dreams and or visions too). When a person has a supernatural encounter with Him then they know that they know He exist. I am praying that you will have a personal relationship with the Savior of the world and be born again and know Him personally. Also, many are still being penalized by being ostracized from their families when they come to believe in Yeshua, but many are still finding him anyway. He is worth it because when You know Him as the Son of God (Loving and faithful Savior) you are motivated to grow and learn more about Him, Father GOD and His Holy Spirit through prayer and the Word of GOD. May GOD bless you to know His beloved Son one day. Peace to you
It was not hashem if he/it lead you AWAY from hameschiach
