Why did she write bet differently inside the word aba then all the times she had written it previously?

because the dot in the middle of the bet makes the b sound and the bet without a dot in it is called a vet, making the v sound.

The difference between bet and vet was explained in the video, but that wasn’t the question. The question was why, in the video, bet suddenly looked different when written in the word aba. I noticed that, too, and actually backed up the video to check it out a couple of times. It was virtually identical in every previous demonstration, and then suddenly morphed into something that seemed quite different when used in a word. I suppose it’s just like Latin letters, that are written a little differently by each person.

Great lesson. I wish they integrated the understanding of gematria into it.
Also, video says to go to hebrewpod101.com. For some reason it had invaded my privacy using a picture of me without my permission or knowledge. I find this offensive and a turn off. Is there nothing sacred anymore? Also, it is a misleading site saying it’s free but then asking for money. I unjoined but cannot get my name out of their system. Everyone has turned the marketplace into a den of thieves and into others’ lives against their right to have personal privacy.

I cannot identify the third letter of the word Alef. It doesn’t match to any of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
